This is Korra somewhere in the Earth Nation... I had to disguise her as this ismy art homework.
Please tell me how to improve on backgrounds... Looking at it now doesn't make it look better.

Overall Vision Originality
Technique ImpactVery nice, but the legs are a bit short and to me something looks slightly off about the birds...
For the background, I think it looks quite good, actually, I like how you mixed the colours, but maybe add some details? You could also add the sun reflecting on the water. (Though I can't really complain since this is about 100 times better than anything I've done)
I also think that the hair looks a bit ... limp? I don't really know ... but since there is supposed to be wind, as we can see from the apron-thingy, it really should move somehow (unless you meant it to be wet, but I don't really understand why only her hair would be wet so I suspect not)
But overall, I think this is very good, although some things do need improving, this is a really nice and peaceful drawing.
